One of my friend on Facebook, shared a video few weeks ago about nannies who is abusing children. The video was all about nannies being caught by hidden camera. And as a mother of a two year old boy, my first reaction was this “how could she do that?” I cannot hold myself shedding tears while watching the video; in fact, I don’t have enough strength to continue watching the video. I felt sorry for those children handed to the wrong person. I don’t know what to do if the person who is not even related to me abuse my child, I will not stop until I see that person behind bars. Nobody has the right to abuse children, even parents. They are just kid and too young to be punished. I am so thankful to grow up with a very loving and caring parent. I cannot remember getting spank hard or shall we say abusing their children, yes, they pinched me once in a while and scolded me but only in the right time but as far as, hurting us to the point of leaving bruises to our body, it never happen even once. That is the main reason why, I decided to stay at home and watch my kid 24/7. I cannot simply trust anybody to watch my kid because I know sometimes kid can do something that might irritate someone and only parents can handle it.
I know there are countless of parents out there who do not have a choice but to entrust their children to nannies. However, before you decide to leave your children to strangers feel your guts, instincts and install spy equipment to ensure your children safety. Nanny camera is the only way for you to lookout your children while are you at work. Remember, it’s your decision to have a child so it’s your responsibility to keep him/her safe no matter. Do not leave your house without your children unless you know they are safe and sound.
