My son’s room is almost ready for him except the mattress bed. We got a pretty good deal with the bed that we bought yesterday from the store but it does not include the mattress and sheets. There are many things that I wanted to do in his room but we are not financially ready right now, which is why we only have to buy the necessary things such as; bed, mattress, dressers and a side table. My son’s bedroom is pretty simple but neat and I am happy that he knows what certain toys he can play. He is still sleeping with us right now and I hope when the time comes for him to sleep in his own bedroom, he won't have a hard time sleeping and than can cope up well.
I am very happy to met a new friend today, she visited me here in our place nad hang out for over 3 hours. We had a blast! We ate lunch and watched movied and talked. I am thankful to mu husband who helped me organized our meeting and cleaned the house for me. Friends to me are very important, they are the one who keep me getting bored. Thank you Lord for a new friend..
My Dell laptop finally gave up after 5 years of service. If only my son did not dump his milk in the keyboard, I might still use it until now. I contacted someone to fix my laptop but it cost too much, I would rather buy new Acer Aspire netbook than paying the same amount to fix the old one. I found few acer netbook online and I am going to compare the prices tomorrow in the store to see if I can save more money. My husband wanted to buy the Mac laptop but I told him to just save the money and buy the netbook instead. I don’t need a fancy laptop right now, as long as it works perfectly and I can still blog, then I am all good!
We are looking for new cordless phone right now to replace the broken one. My son accidentally smashed our phone last night and broke the phone’s button. This is the second time he broke our phone and we are not very happy about it but this is part of having a kid.

I might buy the Panasonic KXTG4033B DECT 6.0 plus 3-handset cordless phone so we have three phones extra, one in our master bedroom, one in the kitchen and then one in the living room. The one that we are using right now is Vtech, I like the phone too but it does not have extra cordless phone. My husband likes the Motorola L402C DECT 6.0 expandable phone system that comes with one cordless handset and a corded base unit but I told him to buy the phone that got extra phone. We are still undecided right now, hopefully before weekend, we can make the final decision.

Last two weeks ago, my friends and I went to the lake nearby to have a little picnic and while walking in the sand our boys decided to play in the water, it was not part of our plan but because they are crying and wanted to be in the water, we decided to take off their clothes so they can play in the water. After few minutes of being in the water my son's pull-up diaper was full of water already and we burst to laugh when he tried to pull it back up but it went back down because the diaper is full and heavy. He doesn't even care even if his butt is already showing, he still wanted to play. as you can see in the picture, he was having fun inspite of his full diaper!
I wanted to replace our living room sofas for a year now but because we need to set our priorities, I have to wait until we are financially ready and when that time comes, I want to buy the modern furniture that will transform our tiny living room into fancy and classy. I have few collections of big glass bases that will surely match to any furniture we are going to buy but right now, they are in our shop wrapped and will be out when everything is ready. I cannot put them anywhere inside the house since I have a 2-year-old busy boy. I hope we can finish the yard work this year so we can start remodeling the house and replace some of our furniture.
I am thinking of going back to school and finish my nursing degree but according to my husband, I am going to start all over again and I do not wish to do that. I only need 2 semesters to finish my degree in the Philippines, I worked hard to get the passing grade and I do not want to go back in that position again. My husband suggested to look for another course online that is related to my degree, a course where they are going to credit some of my subjects. My husband does not want me to work but I insist for my own benefits. I am looking for online schools right now so I can start taking classes online and hopefully I can find the one that fits in my schedule. I am excited to go back to school but worried at the same since I am a full time mother and a wife. I think this plan will help motivate myself in terms of time budgeting.
It's weekend again and I am very excited! We are planning to drive in the country and stop at the lake to fish and then family picnic afterwards. This is going to be a fun day for the whole family and I love it! I need to start cleaning the house and prepare everything. I hope you guys will have a wonderful weekend too!
We have been using our air-conditioning since summer started, which is also, increases our electricity bill. We tried our best not to use it as often but the temperature is too hot to manage. My son is sweating like crazy and the house is like an oven, we do not have any choice but to turn the air-conditioning on for 24 hours. However, we are thinking of buying Hunter fans, one in our bedroom and in the living room. Since the temperature is dropping on nighttime, we can use the fans instead of the air-conditioning; this is the only way we can think of to save electricity. We cannot afford to pay high bill these days. We need to save up for our future especially in this downturn economy.
Last night, my husband was asking me what I like to collect and the things that I really love to do. It took me a few minutes before I was able to answer his question because I am not a type of person who collects things as most women do, seems like everything is fine with me but just recently, I discover to myself how I love to collect urban clothing; it is like an obsession (which I did not notice).If you have to look at my closet it is full of clothes, some has still tag on it. I am not particular with the brand, as long as I like the style, the design is hip and chick and of course looks good on me, I will buy it. I can shop whole day without getting tired. Lucky me, for I have a husband who understand my obsession. When I told him, I want to shop; he will let me shop because he knew that even if I love to shop, I know my limitation.
After few days of raining, the sun finally shining outside! We have been waiting for this. Alex is very excited because he knew he can finally play outside. He wanted to play since last week but it's chilly to be outside, it rains hard and very windy. We have to take this opportunity while we still can because according to the forecast, there will be another storm coming, so see you later guys, it's time to play outside!
Last week on our way back home from Walmart, some awful smell came out from our car, it smells like a rubber burning inside and we cannot figure it out where and why. We stopped in the middle of nowhere checking the car. My husband thought it is the engine, so we called Wendel (auto car repair) for an appointment to check our car.
According to them, the filters are too dirty and dusty, they did a lot of checking and cleaning in our car and thanks to God that everything is working perfectly now. Our only concerned is that, the payment is too expensive. We pay over 200 bucks just for that service which is already beyond our budget. We seriously need to find cheap car insurance that will cover most of the expenses; we cannot afford to waste more money for the car. Anyone who knows some cheap insurance provider please let me know, thank you.

We just got home few minutes ago from my friend's place, it's been 3 hours already since we had lunch but I am still filled up with food. Yesterday I weight 110 lbs and gained another lbs after eating today:-). I am trying to lose some weight and hopefully I will never gain weight again after today..
Anyway, I am thankful and blessed to have a friend close to where I lived. Since I met her, my boredom is less and my son is a little happier. He has someone to play with and his mommy has someone to talk, laugh and share things about motherhood. God is really good and awesome! He knows what I want and provide all my needs, Thank you Lord..
Walking for 30 minutes is one of my daily routine and just in one month, I lose few pounds already. I am very happy with the result; I am more conscious in my body now than before and eat foods that are more nutritious.
My only problem is the blister I got from my old shoes, I walked for over a mile everyday and the shoes that I am using is not very comfortable. I will buy new mbt shoes this coming weekend and see if it helps. I heard rumors that this shoe is very good in every ways. The design will help strengthen or improve your booty and your leg muscles. I had a pair before but I gave it to my younger sister. I never thought of using it because I am still very skinny that time. Never in my wildest dream to gain the weight that I am gaining now and so determined to lose these unwanted body fats of mine!
